SCOPE 2011

Wiltshire's Toby Bevins competed in the main arena in the Para classes and won one of them. It was really great to watch and I'm sure an amazing experience for Toby and all those who took part. A huge crowd watched the Para classes and the support from the audience was amazing! Well Done Toby - a real moment to treasure.

If you have any photos (your own due to copyright law) from Scope please email them and I will see if we can get them on the website.
Bye for Now and Good Luck to you all for the winter season.

Danny Dune
Grovely Riding Centre
Danny Dunne of Grovely Riding Centre started showjumping at 9 on his ‘128’, 4 year old Welsh pony Greenbarrow Gossamer and there quickly followed a succession of jumping ponies from `138’s` to `148’s` on which he represented England on several occasions. When moving on to horses Dan started his training with Andy Austin and bought Sonconcorde on whom he did young riders and on selling him bought Wyle Cruise as a four year old. Dan has focused on producing young horses, coming 4th in the British Young Horse Championships on five year old Cassius Clay and equal first on the four year old Wanetho S.
Dan has been successful in Newcomer’s 2nd rounds and qualified Wylye Cruise as a 6 year old for Hoys and again this year in the Grade C Championships having won at South of England Show. In January 2009 Dan went to Holland where he trained with Rolef Brill and returned to compete his horses in England and upgrade Wylye Cruise to Grade A and is now currently competing at 1.40 level with her , plus his string of young horses. Two of his fillies, bought in Holland are in foal to Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve and Cicero Z van paemel. So there is much to look forward to in the future. Danny is currently in Holland to continue his training.
